Fourth of July weekend was fun and packed full of activities. On Saturday we went to Michelle’s parent’s farm. It’s called The Bomb Shelter because of an old stone cellar that is half underground. This visit was my first along with David, Nathan, and Meg-T. Jessica, Rose, Michelle, Justin, Joe, Helen, and Ava also came.

While there we drank a lot (of course), played beer pong card and charades, listened to great music, lit fireworks, and some people went swimming. For some, swimming was a choice and for others it was an unfortunate end to some rambunctious rough-housing. Meg-T and Joe eventually took each-other into the pond, and unfortunately Joe had his cell phone on him. :(

I was hella prepared for this trip. I brough food for everyone, my speakers, a deck of cards, extra towels, and a first aid kit. It’s a good thing I still abide by the Boy Scouts’ motto because I was prepared. People should take note.
